The use of dermestid beetles is by far the best way to clean a skull.  Beetles throughly clean your skull without damaging delicate areas such as the nasal cavity and they do not cause the discoloration and shrinkage that boiling does.

Once the beetles have done their job we then degrease, whiten and seal each mount with a protective clear coat.
